Hail to Sunny Days…

Today I woke up more rested than in a very long time.  I don’t know whether it was the bright sunny day, the fact that I was looking forward to spending time with the writer’s group, or because it was the weekend.  Truth be known, I don’t care why, except that it happened.  It’s nice to have a little energy for a change.

Writer’s Group was wonderful, as always.  Everyone’s projects are so different, and even though we’re all still new together, the group feels very cohesive.  It’s great to have the rigor and support of a writer’s group again.

Oh, and in answer to the query about two words I used:

Insouciance – noun.  Means nonchalance, indifference, composure, ease, cool.

Gamine – Noun.  Means urchin, ragamuffin, waif, stray

Okay, so I used the latter word incorrectly.

The husband and I went for a drive after writer’s group to enjoy the last bit of sun, and in the course of our conversation, I decided I’m going to take a quick break–just enough to read a book for fun.  It’s been a long time since I’ve done that.  I need to recharge the batteries.  It will also give me time to do some brainstorming I need to do.

So that’s my Sunday.  Happy writing.
